![]() Frankly, I had been surprised how nicely the NAD-Magnepan pairing worked. Granted, the Heresy lIIs didn't present very much of a problem to the G 316BEE's power reserves, therefore I hooked up my ineffective, low-impedanceMagnépan 3.7flat-panel loudspeakers, and the little NAD stepped up to the job at hand. Forty watts per approach might not tone like much, but utilized with efficient speakers, the M 316BEE can be seriously powerful. It looked right, very significantly in the fundamental, no-frills NAD custom, therefore it's short on functions, but mainly because shortly as I hooked it up to a pair of Klipsch Heresy III loudspeakers (evaluation in the works), the sound has been everything I hoped for. NAD accommodatéd my request and sent along the D 316BEE, a 40-watt-per-channel stereo system included ámp (it's $380). In the here and today we have the all-néw, all-digital $499 NAD G 3020 amp, and it earned a rave review on CNET, but I needed to verify out something that remained closer to the unique, all-analog ámp.
